Chicklets
Can anyone tell me for sure when GM stopped putting the "quality badges" on the new builds . I have them on my 06 but others in my Club are missing them. 2010,2011 GM seems to have omitted them but the "Black Book" lists many minor changes but not this one.... Thanks

Not sure who's bright idea it was putting these GM badges on, but was only for a couple years. My 06' had them for a week, but looked like a big zit to me, so removed them. Also had the badges on other cars, but removed those too, as actually date the cars now.

My June 2008 built 09 Z06 has them.

I think they stopped beginning with 2010 production year. My (Nov '09 build) 2010 Z does not have them.
I had a Oct '08 build (2009) Vert and it had them. I read on this forum that around Sept 2008 GM marketing made decision to d/c the chicklets...so my Nov '09 build (2010) did not have them.

My 09 Z06 had them, but not anymore. They are ugly

I like them. I like as many emblems as I can put on my car. I actually bought two new ones after I had my car repainted. I also added the 427 emblems as well as the rear Z06 emblem. *Flame suit on*

Right after the bankrupcy Government Motors decided to save some $$$ by deleting the chicklets. MY2010 sounds like the correct timing. Never like those and I took them off my 06Z. The 11ZR1 was produced w/o the chicklets.
