Default Header, pulley, air intake? Whats best bang for buck mod?

I am curious what additions to the ZR1 would give u the best bang for buck. Just a pulley and tune and what is cost in SoCal area? Headers and or halltech intake worth it? I dont want cams or anything too radical to change driveability. Have not seen too many dyno sheets with air intakes or zr1 headers. Which brand and size are most using?

K&N filter, pulley, and tune. Your cats won't last though. Headers don't add any power on these cars is what I've seen.

I went with LFP snout, LFP air intake, pulley swap, KOOKS 1 7/8 headers full 3' exhaust.

How much more power did you get with tune?

628HP, 658HP with belt slip

Going to setup another appointment for a dyno run to see if that has been taken care of. But the car at its currrent tune is a beast.

Also have 80lb. injectors as well.

The OP is in SoCal. Should have a free pass to Spring Mountain, which is not that far away.

Do you basically have the LPE 710 package? Have been thinking of that myself, disappointing to hear about belt slip issues with that.

Basically yes but not using the crank pulley, BUT I am confident that the new BANDO belt will work out best.

Speaking of the belt I was at Vengeance today to pick my wheels up and they have a ZL1 camaro there and its stock belt is a bando belt. Its been run hard at the dragstrip a few times now and been on the dyno. I rubbed my hand on the belt and there was absolutely no dust on it. I am definitely just gonna call LPE and get one. Its just drives me nuts how they sent this setup to me and it doesn't work properly.

No doubt I am cleaning engine bay then going to thrash on mine a bit as well. I plan on ordering another as a spare. Not saying I will need it but good to have.

To the wheels. Pretty nice numbers there. Is belt slippage pretty common with these upgrades. Which kit is it???

We both are running the 2.35 pulley only. The tensioner design on these cars is whats to blame.
