Just like the title says. I'm thinking about having my stock heads reworked and possibly adding a fast intake with a nw tb. Do you guys think with this setup plus headers cold air intake and tune' that 500 rwhp is possible on 91 octane?

I would think you wouldn't have a problem reaching 500rwhp with a setup like that, my suggestion from what I've read on here is if your gonna go all out as far as heads reworked, fast, ect mine as well go ahead and add a little more cam to that and be closer to the 600rwhp mark

I know I could add a cam and get alot more HP but my goal is to get as much as possible with out swapping out the cam or going FI. Maybe down the road.

with the heads off its not that much more to do the cam. you can have the right springs installed for the cam while the heads are being done and save yourself from more work later.

I did mine in april 523 on a mustang dyno you tube 2008 Corvette Z06 Mods. Do it right. You dont want it tore down twice.

My last two vettes had big cams in them. I'm not sold on them. I daily drive my vette and kinda like the drivability of the stock cam. I do like a little lope, but not so much that speed bumps and 15 mph school zones become a chore. If I go FI, I want to do it right and forge the motor. I won't have the funds for that for at least another year. That's why I want to just do the heads for now. Maybe a FAST intake too as those are pretty easy to sell down the road.
