14-15 in town. 21-22 on the road.
I'm fine with the fuel mileage given its performance.
Now my '68 GTO's mileage on the other hand (a little more than half the power on twice the fuel).

I usually don't check, but the '11 got about 21 mpg on the highway to Criswell Chevy and the '13 got 22 mpg on the way back home. I was going a little faster on the way home too, go figure.

My '10 got 15.5 city and 19.5 hwy. The new '13 gets 24 hwy@78mph; no city/heavy traffic miles yet . The new gears make a heck of difference but 6th gear sucks! I wanted my old car back the first week but I'm OK now.
The '13 has 4 CATs!
Just had it dyno'd 553hp@6300 RPM on a Mustang. Boost was 10.

13-15 around town and 20-22 on the highway at a steady cruise of 75 mph
like has been said, none of us bought this car for fuel economy !
FWIW, I think the highway mpg is fine considering everything the ZR1 is/does...

I average 17.8 according to DIC over the past month I've had the car. Almost all highway driving.
I saw 19.8 when I first drove it home 1200 miles from Houston. This seems in line with what others have noticed.

It now has the exhaust system off a ZO6. Gained 17HP to the wheels and 15 TQ.
Thanks for sharing the dyno. My buddy keeps on bugging me to put my 2011 on his Dynapack, but I'm too busy/lazy.

My '11 GS also has the air box off my old 09 Z06

We just returned from a trip to the Black Hills Corvette Classic. Average crusing speed going out was about 78 (with some long runs at 85 and the instant showed 19 mpg). Cumulative for the trip out was 22.4 mpg per the dic. Part of the trip back where average cruising speed was 73, was 24.7. We put about 2,900 miles on it-and now it has around 9,700 miles. I think this helped break it in!

My ZR1 gets right about what the EPA rating is. 15-20 which is about 5 MPG less than my Z06 got on average. I bought my Z06 in N.Y. driving it back it averaged 28 MPG which I thought was great . As for as who cares put me down as one of those that do if for no other reason that I don't have to stop as often to support some foreign country that would rather see us dead.

On several trips from our area to Bowling Green, our 05 Coupe would do 31sh, our 07 Z06 would do 28ish and our 2010 ZR1 does around 23ish .... all on same route with similar driving habits.
Other observations....the Z06 didn't like town type driving for gas mileage and the ZR1's mileage will drop like a rock if you get on it at all.
