Please help.
I just got 2010 ZR1 Cristal Red 5200 Miles on it.
I love this and waiting for plate to come.
I will post some picture later.
But!!!, My rear fender have "a lot" of rock chips, I mean "Many!!!".
Is there are any way that I can fix not too expensive?
If I paint rear fender then Value of my ZR1 will go down? Should I just keep this or paint this?
I ask body shop and they say $1700.
One more question:I live in NJ, do I have to put front plate?
Thank you.

Dr Colorchip is a possibility. It will make them less visible but not like a repaint for sure. $1700 sounds much too high IMO, I'd get more estimates.

I'd get a couple more estimates at reputable shops.
As for ZR1 value going down, I doubt a quality paint job would diminish the value significantly, likely less than the diminished value based on the rock chips you describe. I'd suggest pictures before and after that you could provide a future buyer. I would insist on seller paying for high quality paint repair if I was considering purchasing the car as you describe.
New Jersey is a 2 plate state last I heard. You can contact your DMV for your specific state requirements.
Looking forward to pictures.
