Spark plug or spark plug wires? Could be getting a misfire. That ticking could be the loose wire arcing against the engine block.

Do you have a code reader? Would be interesting to pull the codes...

I headed out of town, but am going to take it to the dealership Monday.
It's a 2011 Z06 with just under 13K miles.
Its just really stange for all this to happen all at once, with zero warning. I'm going to try and get it somewhere to get the codes.

So when I gave it any acceleration it was almost like the car was bogging down. That's the best description of what it felt like when giving it any gas.
The ticking / knocking noise was quite loud.
Will deffinitely be interested in what the hell happened for all this to happen all at once. It wouldn't be so bad if the service lights came on, and the car ran normally. Unfortunaley that is not the case

Because a loose spark makes the computer go nuts. You can get service codes by using the wrong spark plug. Bottom line, you're not driving a car, you're providing input to a computer. If the computer is not happy it will let you know about it in very roundabout ways.

Fix your misfire and the messages will go away. The computer isn't being driven crazy. The Powertrain and Brake computers work together and this is how they tell you what is going on and where you need to check to find the problem.
Pretty simple stuff.

The service messages are not codes. They are messages turned on by the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) when the Engine Control Module (ECM) tells the EBCM that it can not control torque properly due to the misfire. The EBCM sets a code that causes the message to be displayed and tells the mechanic that the problem does not exist in the EBCM. If they didn't display the messages people would be complaining their Traction or Stability Control (AH) weren't working.

Well, that's easy for you to say . . . . .

Hey Check,
I look forward to reading your next post when you get back into town. Hopefully the fixes provided here will do the trick! If you want me to run your VIN, let me know.

Well that's exactly what happened in this case. Passenger side 2nd back had fell off. Beats me how the wire could just come undone though. Had the oil changed at the dealership about 150 miles back. Possibly they hit it or something somehow. I put it back on, and none of the service warning came back on. However the engine light stays on. Guess the dealership will need to turn that off.
I'm def not the most engine savvy person in the world. Should I replace the wire, or just slip the one back on like I did?
Thanks again guys for the input!

Go ahead and reinstall it. Depending on the wire you can sometimes hear or feel the connection being made. Don't be afraid to give it a firm, but direct push.
You should be good to go at this point. Autozone, Advance Auto, or O'Reilley should be able to pull the codes for your records and then erase them if you ask nicely.
