Default MGW shifter versus stock shifter

I purchased my 2011 ZR1 last July along with a new MGW shifter. I still have not installed the shifter because I think the stock shifter feels pretty good. I will admit I did not like the stock shifter in my 2007 base corvette and the MGW upgrade in that car was night and day.

For those of you that installed the MGW shifter in your ZR1, what do you think?? I'm assuming it was worth the time/labor to upgrade to the MGW.

Thanks!

How does it feels hummmm well like the stock shifter is freaking sloppy and unprecise! Mgw is night and day better.

Fair enough....I asked the question.

How long did it take for you to install it?

I had 3 versions of the MGW in my Z06 but haven't installed one in the ZR1. I loved the shifter and had no issues with it. Maybe it's just me but the shifter in the 13 ZR1 doesn't seem to have nearly the slack (Bob truck feel) the Z06 had so I'm content with it for now.

Hrm...the shifters in my NSX and S2000 were two of the best I've ever had.

Back on topic I like the ZR1 shifter better than the C6Z06 shifter. I probably wouldn't swap mine out for the MGW.
