Yeah, it's getting pretty bad. What can we do though?? Not use the site? or bump every non-ad thread over and over until the vendor threads are out of the top pages??

I can tell you what I'm inclined to do, and that is to bypass/ignore vendors who post in the General/etc threads and not in the Vendor section. I'm not against free enterprise and I fully appreciate the support that the paying vendors provide. In fact, I applaud them for their support
Having said that, if I am inclined to want to purchase components, I prefer to harvest that information from where all vendors are playing, in a dedicated place for vendor sales only.
So, as a matter of principle, and perhaps vendors will heed our frustration, I bypass vendors who post in non-Vendor forums.
