Solid pass.
I agree you don't need 4.10s, I'm sure you'll hit your 9s with the new combo. It's going to take me a bit longer to get into the low 10s since I have to stick to a DR now. Just ordered the RTS but no more 26x11.5x17 bias ply out there anymore.
Hope you and Nick get your cars running soon. The nice weather is coming and so will the fast passes.

Taking more weight out of the car and switching to a cam that has a bit more top end punch might get me there...we shall see. I'm also giving a MSD ported by Tony Mamo a try, replacing my un-ported FAST 102.

Wind Horse Pass has been a bit inconsistent with their application of the rules, but hopefully the 135 trap won't be enforced....at least until you hit 140 or better.

Torquer 110 is a sleeper cam in my opinion.

Yep, unfortunetly. If I put a 5 point in the car, then get booted for trapping over 135, I'll be very pissed off.

Did you put a five point in your car so you can run at WHP ? I think that's the only way we are going to be allowed to run....and then I hope they are gracious with the 135 MPH trap speed rules.

It will be a long time before I get all these parts together, but if (and I may) I do it, I'll do it this way:
H/C/I/E + gears
Cam - 236/244 112+3 .640/.638
Heads with mild port work, flow numbers around 395/252
Ported MSD intake + Airaid CAI + Vette Air
Pfadt Headers + Catless X-pipes and QTP Cutouts
LS9 clutch/flywheel (maybe something else if I started racing often)
Short Shifter
DR's
------------------
With all that junk I'd like to be around 570/530 on the dyno on a normal, cool and dry day.
I'd try to get that combo down to low 10's @ mid 130's. Once I got there, if I really wanted 9's, I'd switch to 3.73 rear-end and practice, practice, practice.

When/If you guys want rollbars, we should see what we can do to get a good deal. Either order 3, or find a local shop to fab up 3, or something.

Tom (HOXXOH) has a real nice setup that he designed/engineered and had built locally, that I'm going to go with. I'll talk to Tom about maybe fabbing up a couple sets to keep the cost down. My buddy AJ (SmallBlck400) wants one as well...maybe Nacho and AJ P can look into them too so we can all go to the track and not get booted.

PM's from people asking what my current setup makes on a dyno. Here's my last dyno sheet (DynoJet) showing both my 91 pump gas and E85 comparisons. My posted slips and video are on my 91 pump gas setup and full street trim.....no drag pack or weight loss but on drag radials. I never had a chance to run my E85 setup with good driving and air, as my new OEM fuel pump took a dump after a few 100 miles on E85 and I was unwilling (at the time) to run the then new Walbro 450 pump with a modified fuel bucket. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll need that 450 pump to get back on E85 and pick up those lost ponies.
My best E85 runs were with incredabley crappy driving (1.70+ 60' and slow shifting, as the car just had a new clutch put in and I was really rusty ) at 5200' DA....10.77@130 at SIR in Tucson.

My concern with roll bars is the aluminum frame stuff compared to the base cars.

Were you ever able to try out the slicks and 3.90s? How was your 60', ET and MPH? I have a similar setup only with 4.10s. Would like to know how you like the slicks vs Drag Radials. I am in the market for Weld RTS big and skinnies with bias ply MH street ets.

No more 17" bias plys are being manufactured, you're going to have to look for a used set. I just found a set from a member on here and snatched them.

5200 sucks! I'm sure that thing will run like a scalded dog on the coast!

If it fits correctly, priced right, and actually works then I'm down for a roll bar.

Just talked to Tom (HOXXOH) about his custom fabbed bar. I asked if he wouldn't mind posting a few pics for those who've expressed a desire for a bolt-in bar that can be removed for daily use. He confirmed it takes roughly 15 minutes to install/remove in his C6.
