Default Having a time trying to lower my Z06

Like to get some input and help here. I was trying to lower my c6 Z the other day and wax of having any luck with the stock bolts. They either wouldn't move or the heads woukd try to start to round off. My question is could u just leave them at stock height and just cut one of the rubber spacers off to lower it some.

front bolts turn a whole lot easier if you relieve some pressure off them. i use large pry bar to relieve spring pressure, spraya little wd40 on bolts first, wipe them down, put some index marks on the bolts, turn them both the same number of turns, done

or use two jacks, but yes putting pressure on the leaf springs will remove the tension off the bolts. Then that are easily turned.

With car on stands use a jack and tube, wood or socket to take tension off spring pad. Otherwise you will trash pads and damage threads or head.
