Just read this whole thread. I feel for the OP. GM needs to make sure dealerships have the appropriate tools and knowledge. To not know to refill trans and align after engine replacement is no excuse and makes GM look bad as well IMO.
I hope the OP gets the issues resolved soon. These cars are still very expensive, and to have these issues is ridiculous. Its bad enough, you buy a Z and have to add ~$1500-2000 to get heads fixed, so you don't eat a valve driving down the hwy.

Dealership was supposed to call me back to discuss the removal of the front rotors to have them balanced. Never called me back.
I will be calling them back in the morning. GM customer service is still being of no help other than telling me how sorry they are that my car is messed up.

In the early 90's, I had to get a lemon law lawyer involved as GM was stalling and taking months to try and fix multiple issues with a quad4 Olds Cutlass. End result was GM bought the car back. At least the dealership was competent in my case.

Transmission parts are back ordered, as of right now I have no date to expect. they are covering the trans under warranty but until it is fixed and they can drive it they can't move forward with abou of the other issues, the GM rep will email me when the dealership contacts them when the trans is done. I'll update then.

Got car back 2 days ago. Transmission is fixed but still makes a really quiet squeal. They are still telling me that they do not feellthe vibration in the steering wheel. And they replaced the RCDLR for the tpms fix, tire light is still coming on, they didn't fix it. I'm taking it to another dealership to see if they will help me out on the rest of the issues I'm done using this one.

With respect to conn rod bearings and carbon rotors, I've been very lucky with my '12. No problems with either.
From the OP, I'd sure be looking at out-of-balance rotors. Considering the cost of replacement discs, I can understand GM's reluctance to help you.
You can continue to have dealers and tire shops balance tires but I'd read up on what the ZR1 community has been doing with that issue.
You might even have to take the rotors off, take 'em to a balance shop which does flywheels and have them spin it to see if it actually is out of balance. If they prove to be out of balance, take that evidence back to GM and demand new rotors.
