Default Akrapovic exhaust tips

What do you think of the gloss carbon fiber Akrapovic tips? I noticed the original matte clear coat on the Akra carbon fiber tips installed on my C6 Z was getting damaged and peeling off making it look ugly, so I decided to re-do the clear coat but in gloss rather than matte.
I thought to have the Akrapovic logo in gold, but I decided to keep it in red since it is the original color.
Here are some pics.. What is your opinion?

I had them for around four years. here's a pic showing the clear coat peeled off. I have removed and reinstalled the exhaust on the car several times, so I guess they have peeled off due to improper handling during removal and installation.

Wow...so much better in gloss. I'd love to do this to mine. What kind of clear did you use?

I didn't ask the shop who did it which clear they used.

I will post some pics when I install them on the car.

I like the gloss look as well. Especially when being compared to chipped or worn originals.

I also have a C7 race rear diffuser, so the gloss tips would better match the cleared diffuser as well.

Nicely done! I have never been a super big fan of the dry carbon look.

Gloss all the way IMO. Looks great, keep the logo in RED.

THanks !!! Seeing how nice yours turned out kinda made it a no-brainer for me

I got the new carbon diffuser installed last night with the tips but it was too late to take any pics, so I drove the car to the office to snap a few
