That's a fantastic explanation. I'm hoping you were using my post as a springboard, but I meant it as a compliment.
I'm over 600rwhp N/A with my MSD/102 combo, and I've been looking for ways to grab some extra hp without going FI. This looks like an option right up my alley.

This gragh posted below was his best run with 100 octane but it still made 612 RWHP on 91 pump fuel (from a 566 baseline!!).....he picked up 46 RWHP from the swap which is insane for a manifold swap. Note he had a big cam which helped the gains upstairs swell even more from the manifold upgrade.
As a road race engine builder and retired "dyno nut,” two things with your ported MSD really stand out to me:
1) Pulls strong past 6500 rpm
2) Torque curve is smoother between 3-5k
With my 402/LS2 that’s for sure going to help my poor old 315 Cup 2’s do their job; in 2nd & in some cases 3rd gear.
