Looks like an aftermarket "Man" switch or similar to control bi-mode exhaust on a C6.

Exactly what it is.

It is not stock, and is an on off switch. Now OP needs to find out what exactly, and yours was a great place to start

It is an aftermarket switch and it controls the bi-mode exhaust, similar to what the M2W remote switch does. When I ordered the M2W like controller, I sent in my stock plate (or whatever you want to call it) and they exchanged it with the switch installed.

Ohhhhh! A mystery switch. Don't tell us. I'd rather wonder
Maybe it changes the wheel color from chrome to black and vice versa.
Maybe it tints and un-tints the windows!
Maybe it changes from auto to manual. (ehh)

Or perhaps it's an rocket seat ejection switch. I think that's the most probable.

OP, it's a button. It's probably there to serve a purpose. Try pressing it.
