Why in the world would you not make a comprehensive claim and have this done professionally??? What am I missing here? This will cost $4k easy. The fender alone is around $2,700. How high could your deductible possibly be?

Look at the position of the headlight assembly. It's pushed back. That means the assembly is broken or worse, the wheelhouse it's bolted to is smashed. At least take it to a insurance adjuster or any body shop for a written estimate of damages before you get in over your head

Well, if you are going with a DIY repair....

Yes, I'd start with bumper, headlight, fender removal.

Find what is bent or cracked.
Straightening or bracket replacement as needed.

Looks like the bumper to fender clip will be needed (common issue).
Brake ducting - repair or replace plus fog light asm.
Fender crack...that is up to you.

The yellow paint is a difficult color to match.

Reassemble and professionally check the 4 wheel alignment...go from there.

FWIW, in my area I think a shop would charge $3K.

That's my two cent comment.

Good luck, it doesn't look like major damage.

That's a 6 to 8000 repair at a quality bodyshop that isn't shortcuting things. Just saying

Same thing happened to me a few years back. A small deer jumped out of the woods and hit me. This was almost 8k worth of damage they had to replace the apron under the finder as well.
