Default Rotor Question

recent Zo6 owner, thinking of replacing brake pads. is there a number for thickness of the rotor that I would need to determine if I need to replace? car has 50,000 miles. do not know if they have ever been replaced.
plan on buying a micrometer.

also, I have seen a lot of conversation on the C7 forum about Power Stops Z26 brake pads, has anyone used these C6 ZO6 ?

Rear rotors
New: 26 mm/1.02 in.
Minimum after resurface: 24.9 mm/0.980 in.
Discard: 24.5 mm/0.965 in.

Front rotors
New 32 mm/1.26 in.
Minimum after resurface: 30.6 mm/1.205 in.
Discard 30.3 mm/1.19 in.

I run mine on the track until they crack. But at 1.2in front I usually replace if I catch before a crack. Heat checks (small little cracks that don't extend to the edge are OK). Inspect rotor for cracks or surface irregularities. Don't ever resurfacing our rotors. Either sand with 50-100 grit garnet paper, re-bed with new pads or replace.

The stock rotors are actually good for what they do and are not that expensive to replace.

Like SLOWRYDE said. At 50K miles it's probably time to replace them. I'd never have them turned as that will just make them weaker and then you'll have to take them off again. You can get an entire set of new ones for about $150.00 for the front pair and not much more than that for the rears. I think rears are a bit more because they have the parking brake drum built in. So maybe $350-400 for the entire set.
