Anybody Here Have Experince With The ACDelco Rotors?
Has anybody here run ACDelco rotors on their Z? I have heard that they are OEM equipment, and from others that they are not OE quality. Also various threads online arguing each way. The supplier is advertising them as GM original equipment. Use will be mainly for the street. I know it' not a track rotor but how will it fair for the odd afternoon trip to the track throughout the year? I would not have stock pads on them. Likely split the two evils and go with a set of street/track combo pad. Won't be doing that much serious tracking of the car. If I go that way I'll spring for Giro's.Thanks guys.
Delco Part numbers are:
Fronts 177-1126
Rear 177-1127

There are different acdelco rotors that are not stock equipment.
The ones you listed are, and the same ones I use.
They go rather quickly on the track, but that is why they are used. Cheap to replace after 3 days or so.

Thank you for the reply. I had heard/ knew there was different lines of rotors from cheap to OE. Wasn't sure if these were indeed OE level
Great to hear, all the listing under that number came up represented as OE on all the suppliers sites.
You can say that again. Part of why I was skeptical was the price I just paid. There was only two rears remaining and I bought them for a ridiculous price. The fronts were also a great price. The rears I didn't believe until I had them arrive today.

The prices are ridiculously low, quality great, and I have used many of these. But I did crack a brand new rotor once at Laguna Seca the first day I used them (meaning they were put on the night before). My mistake was that they didn't have enough heat cycles in them (being brand new) and of course, going through some serious braking at Laguna Seca...
The wise old adage goes, "buy used rotors, preferably old ones that have age but not wear, and they will last forever."

The two left in stock I STOLE for....wait for it...a little longer yet lol. How about $22.50 each US for the rears including shipping!!! New in the box from a business. Which in Canadian dollars was $29.90.Bought from a Canadian Seller. My group of car guys and shop owner buddies couldn't believe it. Fronts also very cheap at $65.29 US. Last at that price at another supplier also. No more rears to be had at that price or I would have taken more.

Thanks for posting. Mine have grooves in them. Almost time. They aren't directional??
Are yous guys swapping pins too?? I've never had mine out

The rotors are directional. Sort of. They only go one way, (no left and right) so on one side of the car they are correct, and on one side they are incorrect. Nice job GM.
I don't pull the pins. I mean, if you're changing rotors you've got the caliper off anyway. Pulling the caliper and replacing the padlets is, in my opinion, way easier than messing with the pins which are probably frozen and will likely strip if I mess with them.

Someone told me that if your brakes are squeaking you can swap the pins and it should help??
I've never tried to remove mine. Probably seized. 48K squeak-free miles though

No, I haven't had Mark Roman tune my car yet, I don't think I can use the full 505HP potential anyway...
That is effing cheap! Although I use Stoptech slotted rotors now for track use and they do last 2x as long. I believe they are around $90 something a piece.
I used to think the pins were seized after 60+ track days until one came out on me on track from the inside of the caliper (heard it, came in to hot pits, checked everything and couldn't see anything wrong, it wasn't until I swapped pads with the caliper off that one pin was gone), good thing not catastrophic, but I would check them from time to time (inside and outside!)
