Loading a Z06 onto a Budget or Ryder Trailer
Guys,
I'm going to pick up my new to me Z06 in about two weeks. Does anyone know if a stock height Z06 can be loaded onto a standard Budget or Ryder car carrier without scraping either the nose or the undercarriage?
Even though I've been a forum member since 2000, this will be my first vette.
Thanks.

Burning Brakes
Have plenty of 2x12's. Can't speak on those two specifically but I had a hell of a time with Uhauls trailer. Like the ole school way...if you can find a slope, it will help a lot.

Do yourself a huge favor, hire a shipper, they have the proper trailers with beaver tails and ramps.
I have had 2 of my three vettes shipped and its well worth it, I picked my ZR1 up personally in Texas, but after figuring time and fuel it was not a huge savings and I spent 30+ hours driving.
Good Luck and Congrats on your purchase

Combo Service/Trailer Race Ramps
Reverse Logic offers model RLL-80-2 Race Ramps with an invertible incline section that can be used as a trailer ramp. The 6.8 degree incline will clear the Z06 front end.

I've transported my C6Z via the u-haul trailer and definitely needed some 2"x12" pieces of lumber as someone above already stated. Well worth the $50.
