Can launch control and the additional track modes be added to a 2009 Zr1?

I have seen Launch Control added to the 2009 Z06. So I think that can be done easily. Adding the PTM, I believe is another issue. I have not seen anyone or heard of anyone who successfully did it.

There was a lot of talk about it when the 2010 came out and then it disappeared after the discussion of the various computer, control modules and wiring issues that would arise.

Maybe someone will chime in, I would be interested to see how people have accomplished it even though I have it on my 2010.

I saw an article a few years ago, If I remember right, a tech install a new harness and switch, cant remember if he replace the bcm or kept the oe but he did updated the bcm as a 2010 model and it worked. Did not see it from my own eyes but it seem possible

That's absolutely hilarious. You know why? Because when I managed to get the instructions I was going to run them past my buddy who is pretty smart about these things to validate that it works and all. His name is Chris...AKA...

"GTPrix".

Thanks!
