Which ZR1 Splitter for my Z06 ?
2008 Z06 with stock OEM front splitter (useless)
We Autocross a lot, and some track days.
Autocross can hit up to 130 kmh and then into a sweeping curve,
so I'd like to consider getting more downforce in the front,
to make it faster through the corners.
So... recommendations please....
Katech
LG
RPI
????
Thanks

All are good choices. Katech and LG are the better built, but the RPI is a good piece as well. I run the ZR1 style RPI splitter with the splitter brace that I installed behind the front bumper cover. Car is a road race car. I was noticing flexing, deformation of the splitter at speed from some pictures/video and so I installed the front splitter brace last year and it definitely helped at 150mph.

I also have an RPI splitter, but mine is the ZRAL-1 version that comes up in the middle. I installed the brace inside the front bumper too, got the brace from C7 Carbon.

I too recently ordered splitter, side skirts, rear spoiler from C7Carbon. They look to be quality pieces and they were very easy to work with.
LTT.... What hood is that??? your car looks great!! Just sent you a PM.

It is the RK Sport Supercharger hood. Basically, like a ZR1 hood without the window.

I thought someone made an extended version of the ZR1 style splitter? Can't seem to find it though.

C7 Carbon makes extended side skirts, and a few places make extended rear spoiler. But never heard of extended front splitter. The ZRAL-1 is the only variant that I'm aware of from the standard ZR1 style.

Those are all basically the same. I found C7 carbon to be the least expensive at the time I bought mine. And it was in stock too. You only need it if you plan to be running 100 MPH plus on a regular basis. Keeps the nose stiff, and not pulling down towards the pavement.

Im in the same exact position, it seems acs one is the most extended vs a regular zr1? I may just be looking at it differently too. I would like the most aggressive one I can buy but spending 2k+ just on a splitter seems alittle ridiculous imo

OK, I have decided, and bought... eBay of course....
lowest pricing for what I want/need... mainly autocross (some fast courses too),
and a few track days.
Heres the eBay splitter I bought

and heres the eBay support bracket for the grill area

Possibly they aren't as good as some of the other vendors,
but if it is going to be subjected to a few speed bumps, driveway dips, etc.,
I'd rather bang up this one than a very expensive one.

The logical choice.... Probably cannot tell the difference anyway with the cars sitting side by side...
