Default Did 2013 ZR1's X pipe have Cats???

Trying to find correct X-Pipe for 2013 ZR-1, is this part/casting number correct for 2013 Z? When did they start putting cats on ZR1 x pipes?

Extra cats are on the 12 and 13 models. If you're buying go with the Corsa 14331 x-pipe with no cats. Your console won't get nearly as hot plus a few hp and a little better sound.

^ This. Unless of course you're returning a car to stock to sell.

Here's what I come up with: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...YtMmwtdjgtZ2Fz

I know the illustration doesn't show cats on the pipe...but you can clearly see it only fits 12/13 models (and its regularly priced at ~$830, which would suggest cats as well).

Interesting. Would that Corsa 14331 be what I could use on a 2012 Z06 with 4 cats and still be able to retain the rest of my OE exhaust? (OE exhaust manifolds and mufflers?)

Yep...if you don't have one, you need one. Get rid of those silly two extra cats.

You don't pop a CEL with the two other cats removed? No tune is otherwise then required?

Correct...nothing required as those cats are after the O2 sensors.

I really like this idea for my 2013 , are there any choices better or worse for fitment or quality. I'm sure Corsa is good but are there others out there?

I haven't found another one yet, and the Corsa can be had for like $415 through the right vendor. B&B makes an x-pipe but it's only for 2009-11 models. I asked them and they said it will not fit 12-13s (I have a '13).

Corsa is the only mid-pipe I've seen to eliminate the aft cats on 12/13 models.

Does anyone know what the Corsa catless pipe weighs? I think the OEM pipe with cats is around 40lbs and the titanium x-pipe from Akrapovic that only fits the 09-11 models only weighs something like 9 or 11 lbs.

Good guess would be ~20lbs. I think the OE catless "H" mid-pipe from my '09 was 19-20 lbs.

I had the Corsa on my 13 and loved it! Great sound and felt a little snappier. Great investment.
