Getting ready for WGF...
changing oil today, clutch fluid ( motul), adding insulation to MC, clutch cable, insulation to my starter ( just because). Dropping it off with a friend to work his magic with a complete detail and installation of my CF front splitter, side skirts. also ditching my old Sport Cups for some new Nitto NT05R's 345/30/19's.... Tank of 93 w some Torco.. Should be good to go... Pics to follow. WGF is next weekend here in Dallas. I'll be running on Sunday.

you should wait for the detail and install of the front splitter until after the event. jmo. You'll need to clean it again anyways, most 1/2 events are on runways that are covered in dust/debri, and the zr1 front splitter will pick the front of your car up more than the z06 front splitter at WOT

I am running the Michelin Super Sports up front.. 285's I believe.. Ended up picking up a brand new pair of the NT05R's for the rear 345/30 as my Sport Cups are toast and hard as a rock....
I'll post up my results, set up...

Not my first rodeo @ this event or other 1/2 mi outings. I do concur with ya... I don't plan on being behind anyone...
I also agree with the front splitter slowing me down some... I'm not breaking any records anyway... BUT, i'll sure look good!

Car looks great! Where did you get the skirts and splitter? Did you get the extended ones?
Also, I agree with jayyyw. My car rarely sees speeds in excess of 100 MPH (maybe once or twice) and it caused the bumper to start sagging. Fixed it right up with the reinforcement installed. I would highly recommend installing it if you regularly see speeds over 100 MPH.
Before (check the bottom lip of the bumper at the center):

What reinforcement is that? My car has seen extended periods at 100 haha.

Mine are the Carbon7 pieces... front splitter, side skirts, ZR1 extended rear spoiler.

Car looks great man! How are you liking that extended ZR1 spoiler? I'm torn between the regular and the extended, but leaning slightly towards the extended. Would go well with my extended side skirts.

Nah. You only need that if you are staying at speeds over 140 for extended periods. Not 1/2 racing. Before I broke my CF splitter this summer I had zero center nose droop. Measured.. less than a mm. in the middle. No brace.
Yet never sustained those speeds for more than a few seconds. Checked often.
Good luck Matt. I am jealous!!! Would kill to do a 1/2 mile. Oh well. Someday when I get rich and buy a trailer to take it south.
