I just wanted to see if there were any major differences bstween z06 and zr1 headers other than the header to head flanges? I know the part numbers are different but will a Zr1 header system bolt up to a Z06?

The exhaust manifolds are the same part number for both zo6 and ZR1, so the flange is not the difference. There is thread from back in 2012 where guys put zr1 headers on a zo6. Best thing for you to do is call the manufacture of the headers you want and ask them the difference.

Yes, ZR1 LT's will bolt up to a C6Z. Probably the only real difference on ZR1 LT's is that the primaries need to clear the oil cooler/heat exchanger that bolts to the oil pan on the driver's side. Since this oil cooler was introduced later in production on C6Z's (2011+), most LT manufacturers just made the C6Z LT's fit similarly to the ZR1 LT's.

Now, there could be clearance issues the other way around...take an early style C6Z LT and try to install on a ZR1...one of the primaries may not clear that oil cooler/heat exchanger.

They fit without issue. I had a 09 z06 that had American racing headers on it. When I moved on to my zr1 I reused the headers.
