Default Heads getting done TODAY

I'm super fortunate to have AHP within driving distance so I made the 5hr trek down from the bay area yesterday and dropped off the car this morning.
Getting the package 4 heads installed, PM guides, street porting, PSI1511 springs, 0.010" mill, ported stock intake and TB, and a tune. Also getting new fluids all around while I'm there - trans/diff/brakes/clutch. I'll have a nice 5hr drive back north on Tuesday for a proper shakedown. Couldn't help but worry the whole trip down about dropping a valve on the highway... I'd have to just laugh at the irony if that happened on the way to AHP after 12K trouble-free miles

Mine are almost exactly the same, heads wise, my mill is 0.030".
Would love to have the intake manifold and throttle body ported but
i'm a bit too far away for it to be financially viable...... ah well.

Dave.

Nah if AHP trusts their PM's, I do too. I considered the MS90 but thought they'd be overkill for the street. As AHP put it, they are for track cars that are getting beat on with sustained 300deg oil temps. PMs are a huge improvement over stock and aren't known to fail.

OE PM vs AHP's PM aren't even in the same zip code. Two completely different substances...

This is very cool. I have been planning my head fix since last May, even before I bought the car.

A couple of initial questions.

First, Kohle, what's your preferred way to do initial correspondence with you to get advice on what direction I should go with my project? PM here? Email? Phone? I'm sure you get bombarded so I want to do what works best for you. Just let me know!

Second...

How do I pronounce Kohle? Is it "Cole" or "Co-lee" or something else? I have been wondering and I cannot be the only one who doesn't know.

Did a 5.5hr drive back home directly from the shop... ran PERFECTLY, very smooth and significantly more usable power all over. Felt like stock in bumper-to-bumper traffic. When I got some space, it definitely pulls a LOT harder up top! Best of all, I can have my fun without valve worries! Amazing to deal with folks who are absolutely passionate about these cars. #illbeback

Thanks Kohle and Jake for all the help!

Nice results!
May I ask which correction factor is being used here? If I had to guess, I'd say STD.

Hello!

Best way to get in touch with me for initial contact is email: HP@americanheritageperformance.com

If your in a hurry or think I missed your email you can always call the shop 310-326-2399. Im always glad to talk to customers/ potential customers but it may be hit or miss if you can get me on the phone during normal shop hours (I do call back messages though).

Thank you for asking about my name.... Its been years and years since someone has asked for proper spelling and pronunciation. It is spelled Kohle and is said/pronounced easiest in English "Kohle-E". A good way to remember how to say it is to think of the department store Kohl's, drop the 's and add an E.
No worries on those who misspell and or mispronounce my name though. As long as its close I know who someone is referring to. Also for those that were curious my name (Kohle) is a German word that means Cole or source of power (like black cole).

Feel free to email me or give us a call. We would be glad to answer any questions you have and make any applicable recommendations.
