Default Where to Buy OEM Shocks

Do any of our Forum Sponsors offer good deals on a set of OEM shock absorbers?

Don't want take offs. Only new in box.

I think the rears got updated since 2006 which is the year of my car. Can anyone confirm this??

Thanks

There was at least one update in 2009...but why OE shocks Howie? DRM Bilsteins...or even off the shelf Bilstein sports would be soooo much better.

If you're set on OE...maybe price them out at GMPartsonline

I know, I know ...............

I don't have any problems with the OEM. And trying to keep car stock (except for tires which I don't think anyone does)

Might do the DRM's again if I could get them. Sent message to Doug without a reply. Not interested in the sports.

EDIT:
Mike I checked GMPartsOnline. Shocks are $40 less than EBay. But shipping is $150 for a $260 order. They must think I'm shipping to you in Hawaii !!!!!!!! So basically $100 more.

JOC's would be another option if the DRM's are out...but for the money, I'd stick with DRM. It may have been 08 or 09 that the OE shocks were updated...I just remember knowing that my '09 had the latest version at the time.

One of those online GM parts websites I used to use had free shipping in the lower 48...I'll see if I can figure out which one.

Yes...shipping anything here is absurd. Amazon Prime is a way of life here, just don't expect to see anything in "2 Days".

EDIT: Take a look at GMPartsOutlet(dot)net. Should be MUCH better...not free, but I plugged in my old CA address and it said $17 for shipping.

About $15 more total cost now than Ebay which is no big deal.
Thanks

Excellent choice DH on the DRMs. I just ran a season on them and was very, very satisfied. I just ripped my entire car apart though and am going coilovers and a bunch of other things. But overall I was very impressed with the DRMs on the track.

Thanks. I know they are good. I had them on my first C6Z06 that I put into the wall at local track. Only AutoX now. But I'm sure they will still be beneficial. Only $125 more than best OEM deal I could find.

Plus I know this will make Mike very happy over in Hawaii
