No, but it is someone that has more than enough work, and doesn't port heads for just anyone, so he doesn't want his name out there to be bugged or people trying to get them done. So I'll respect his wishes.

Yah, can see the fancy 2 tone head studs. Also the only person I know fancy enough to run Ti locks, not just Ti Retainers.

Hopefully not a problem with the locks pulling thru the retainers as the E36 M3's were known to do.

Get it running, enjoy it, play with it, start enjoying cars again because right now this sucks.

No bigger numbers, as blower was maxed out and not swapping or upgrading blowers any time soon. Just getting back to a nice ~800-1100rwhp daily driver that runs in all weather that I enjoy. Next mods after this if anything is motec and air to water. Just things to make it nicer around town and enjoy the power.

Maybe hit a few private track rentals. Going to skip the 1/2 mile stuff until it has a roll bar, seats, harnesses, etc etc etc because after having a part failure at 190+, no urge to **** myself again.

Can you share your cam specifications? If they are already somewhere in the previous 389 posts I apologize for being lazy!

Original cam was
230/246 LXL/LXL .652 .652 116

New cam is
234/252 .642 .635 116
Much different lobes.

The cam is one area I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake, as the last cam was near perfect, drove amazing, no issues at all, was just about perfect for a car to drive. New one should still keep it streetable and fun to drive with no bucking/surging, but hopefully pick up a little more 6200+ instead of rolling off as hard as it did, then again blower maybe the limit so it may do nothing but make car idle/drive worse with no added power.

Had one of those for several years, put almost 100K miles on it...never knew that was a thing.

I assume the high end valve/valve spring places make a robust enough part, especially for what they cost, but I guess we shall see.

The cost of this setup is shocking, and looking back I went way overboard, but I've always done that.

I did 40 track days, didn't know that was an issue until just before I had it fixed at 133K miles. It may only have been on the 3.0L E36 M3 (1995 only) and not on the 3.2L engine.

Lawd I want those shaft-mounts and that block lol. I cannot wait to see this thing done, it does suck having your car down. What has it been, a year?

March 2017, so 18 months.

The crank is probably the fanciest part in the whole build. Cost more than the block.

18 months is as long as I have owned my Z. I would of gone crazy. What crank? The LSR block is like $4,500 and I am looking at the Callies CCW for if I build mine which is about the same or a tad cheaper.

Callies CCW Ultra Billet. There is more than one CCW, so gotta be specific on which one. CCW Magnums are much cheaper.

Don't forget that cranks can easily be another $200-500 to balance and prep for use.
