First engine waited 8 months on a crank. Was almost a solid 10-11 months to get everything. I'm shooting for october, but motor hasn't even been started. Still need to collect parts. A solid setup can take a long time, and a lot of custom/high end parts are not on the shelf.

This is true. It took me 4 months to get a 3.625" Dragonslayer in 58X. 4.00" was available but not the stock stroke. Custom piston lead times haven't been too bad lately though

After bugging BTR they finally got me some specs. 242/262 115+5 is all they sent. No lift, no idea on lobes, no notes or feedback. Overall not impressed with BTRs custom cam process. Pat G was awesome, and explained exactly what he was going for, what the cam should do, why he was choosing what he did. Not just an email back with 4 numbers.

Emailed back saying lift is under .650 but won't give exact numbers.

So more important, garage is getting a make over. Epoxy floor going in as I type this. Then off to pick up a mini-split AC system for the garage. What fun is storing a corvette in a garage if it isn't pretty and cool inside the garage.

I need to do this. I have a 30 x 25 detached brick garage that has an apartment above it. The apartment has a split ac system and the apartment is never used. I need to move my AC system to my garage. and have my floors epoxied. Floors look good.

I'll be turning mine back on for Friday so I can pull the shortblock Saturday morning.....in a nice cool 77* garage

Yep, and got it for $360 + fees. The other 3 all went for $400+.
Off to Glendale to get it once the flooring guys leave.

Looks like they are all gone. Was afraid I wasn't going to get one. Actually came out to $350+fees, so $439 total.

Once you won the auction, they send you your notification and winning bid info. Make sure you print out the e-mail they sent you as that's what your receipt and claim ticket is when you go pick it up
