So I pulled the heads off today and not good. That car had compressions of 185 or better except #7 it was 170. Definitely head gasket was my thought BUT,,, here is a picture of the cylinder. So now looking at short blocks
First pic shows cracked piston
Second is of a crack in the cylinder wall

THATS ME!!!! Mine broke in the same place and number 7! Wtf!!!!!

Don't go with another OE sleeve block since you're FI. You might have had some detonation, or your tune is on the lean side. I'd be looking for a more robust, boost friendly short block...plenty of better options for you out there. Probably get a second opinion on your tune to be safe. Hopefully your block isn't trash, and you can recoup a few bucks.
Seen too many #7 failures whether NA or FI...would make get a set of flowed injectors, and stick the fattest one in the #7 hole, just because.

Ok quick update:
The LSX is in and runs with no codes my brother came up on Monday after he got out of work and we finished tidying everything up. the first start was on Sunday then My brother and I drove it on Tuesday for 15 miles only 485 miles to go before I go to the Dyno shop and get it tuned back up. For now I turned all the timing back down by about 20% hopefully tomorrow the rain stops and I can go get some data with just an easy drive Pull so I can take a look at all my other parameters. My guess is at this point I will be doing an 85 conversion in the next month or so.
I will try and get some pics up this afternoon.
