Default Aftermarket Valve covers: Whats everyone doing for PCV?

Just ordered some aftermarket valve covers I will be painting here shortly. To take care of the PCV I am planning to tap the covers with 90 degree 1/8" NPT elbows, and use 5/16" fuel hose to replace the hard factory lines. I noticed that the factory covers have "baffles" over the breathers. Anyone think I will run into issues without baffles? What is everyone else with aftermarket valve covers doing?

Well the good news is that those valve cover lines just run into the dry sump tank. The real area for oil ingestion is in the valley cover to manifold PCV line.

If you can drill a 1/4 npt and make it a swivel that would be better. The 1/8 npt 90s are kind of restrictive. I run the 1/4 90 swivel on my Holley Valve covers with the 3/8 line. The swivel is nice as you are not married to the location it finally tightens to so you can swivel it the way you want.

Any pictures? Sounds pretty nice. You mean like 1/4" NPT to an AN swivel?

Here is a photo. 1/4 npt goes into the VC and then an AN 6 goes (this fitting is a swivel I think fragola sells them on summit) to the adapter tube I got on ebay that converts the #6 an to the factory straight push on connector.

I'll have to get you close ups... ( my car is at the shop) Mine is a larger "barbed" fitting w a slightly larger hose.
