ME TOO.................................

3.90 $639.99
4.11 $849.99

So .21 will cost $110.00. If I ever find that I needed that .21 I'll be kicking myself, squarely in the butt.

Call Jegs.

We have 30 3.90s and 30 4.11s in route to us.

The $639.99 price is incorrect. Both gears are $849.99 retail from Jegs or Summit.

The price discrepancy is already being addressed by Motive.

I called Motive to ask about ETA and they said both in stock but have to buy from a retailer like Jegs or Summit.
I ordered mine today trough Jegs for $640 Shipped No Tax

Motive Part numbers
VZ 887390 = 3.90
VZ 887411 = 4.11

I told Jegs to add them to the website as others would be calling soon. They had to call Motive and add the part number to their system. They are supposed to drop ship on Monday. Good thing I already have the Getrag Z06 Pinion Depth from Kent-Moore DT-48009 to set them up.

See you boys at the track!!
Awesome, and thanks for that info !!!!
I ordered from Jeg's as well, 639.99 and no shipping or sales tax !!!

part number 683-VZ887390 C6 Z06 3.90:1 GEARSET

It's like everyone is coming up with a different price, is this thread originating from Jamaica? Last time I was called from Jamaica I was told that I had won the Publishers Clearing House millions, turns out I didn't.

Ordered a set yesterday also and got a discount through their Professional Racer Program (IHRA or NHRA) license holder. We'll see if they end up changing the price. Order is being processed still at the moment.

So, is it safe to assume that everyone ordering a set will be installing it on their own? Wonder what RPM is going to charge for the gearset plus installation.

I have a local corvette drivetrain tech installing the ring set in my spare rear diff. I don't have the proper tools or skill set/knowledge to do it myself, but the tech has all the required specialized tools, specs and rebuilds Vette rear diffs when he worked at the dealership.
I'll then install the diff myself.

I went with 3.90's, which gave me a great compromise for 1/4 drag racing and 1/2-1 mile runway racing. I swapped to the MH3 transmission in my car, so I have a useable 5th and 6th now, and should still be able to hit 203-205 MPH in top gear even with 3.90's with my 335/25/20 rear tire

On 315/35/17 drag radials and a 7300 RPM shift point, I'd have enough gear and RPM for theoretical 143 MPH traps in the 1/4 mile.
