I think you will be fortunate to make 600 RWHP on a legitimate Dyno
with ported OE LS7 Heads.

AI ported stock castings would be my choice. Also need higher compression for 600+whp . C5R timing chain is cheap insurance aswell. Also need long tubes/xpipe.

my apologies, i was in a hurry to post. I completely forgot to include the TSP 1 7/8'' headers to 3'' X pipe. 2'' header were on my mind but after speaking to Chris over at TS&P, 1 7/8 will be totally okay with my setup. He said he has done countless cars making over 1200 using 1 7/8 headers. Also, my buddy at the shop said we are going to mill just a touch. since this was a big chunk of change dropped literally a week after a big down payment on the car, i am holding off on some things on my build. To come - e85 sensor, bigger injectors, fuel pump, haltech intake, ATI 10% under drive balancer, mantic 9000 clutch and welds/tire setup. Until i can get some tires i shall borrow someones to get some test passes in.

If you're stressing over the money, there's a few things i would have done differently.
1. you shouldn't need new injectors- and especially if you're upgrading later for E85, you're just throwing away your money on the 65lb ones
2. A NW102 is worth 5rwhp maybe, is it worth that money to you
3. You should do the CAI before a throttle, for sure.
4. Your stock clutch might last a couple passes on street tires, that's about it. So a clutch is in your very near future.
5. C5R timing chain would be a must for me
6. why ARP head bolts, when you could spend the cash on something else. I say this because you seem to be putting some things before others due to immediate cash flow.
7. and lastly, but very importantly- don't order pushrods until your heads are back on the car. With a cam of that size, I would never assume that you will still be using a 7.800 pushrod. More than likely, you will not. and if your installer is worth his salt, you'll have some different pushrod lengths all over your motor because he checked for the correct valve lash.

630-640 to the TIRE isn't realistic with this set up... (w/o E85, stock clutch, stock damper) It isn't happening.
If you are milling the heads, w that particular cam IMO those are not conducive w the E85.
What you WILL find with this set up is that you will need a clutch sooner than later. Ask me how I know. You do not need injectors with the initial mods.
As a comparison, I am making 592/540 on stock injectors and @ 90% duty cycle. I'll be stepping up to the 85lbers soon and will be able to squeeze a few more ponies out of my set up. Yours is a solid set up.... Should be very nice!! Don't get your hopes up too much regarding the 630 wheel hp.... I am guessing 560-580... In for results.

A trunion kit is not needed.
Stock wires are perfectly fine if yours are still good.
The TSP headers are good but they hang low. If you plan to lower your car, at all, I would go with a different header. They also sacrifice 30-40whp/wtq under 3k rpm (90% of your driving). Fitment is also hit or miss.
That stock clutch won't last very long, especially on the drag strip.
You can also do a set of Morel drop-in lifters instead of the Johnson.

Just for reference, the TSP 4.2 is good, but I haven't seen it make any crazy power. I have a more "max effort" setup: 12.3 compression, e85, ARH 1-7/8", mamo msd, etc and only made 612whp. I'd be suspect if you made 630 with what you have listed. I've only trapped 136mph with a very poor 2.0 60ft.

New guy comes in here to post his build and everyone tells him he's doing it wrong

I'm sure the setup will work fine, even if it doesn't make 630whp. Best of luck to you, looking forward to seeing the results.

No one is telling him he is wrong. Just offering suggestions for things that have been proven. Ultimately, he will choose to go in the direction he wants.

Sounds like a nice build. Best wishes with the project.

Three comments.

I would definitely do the C5R timing chain.

I would also do the ATI 10% underdrive pulley when doing the heads & cam install.

As others said plan to replace the stock clutch in near future.

Skip the TSP LT's...ARH, LG, or Kooks...in that order. If you really plan to go max effort NA build with 630 to the wheels, then ARH 2" LT's w/ Mamo top end.

clutch recommendations? i was told the centerforce dyad is awesome as well as the mantic 9000 but both are pricey. thanks for the reply !
