Default Correct tire sensor?

Trying to have my tires and replica cup wheels mounted at a local shop. Sensors are TT8220 and the guy said they don’t go deep enough. Wheels and sensors were ordered together from a forum sponsor so I’m thinking there’s a greater chance the tire guy didn’t know what he was doing. This is for a ‘06 Z.
Can anyone confirm these are the correct sensors?

What is "deep enough"? If the stem goes through the rim and the nut threads on, what else can change?

The guy had it mounted in place with the nut threaded but it appeared to be too long since it was rather loose. Still waiting to hear back from the vendor confirming the part number. From what I googled it’s the correct part for ‘05-09. The wheels are cup replicas but in C6 size so I’m not sure if that makes a difference.
