[ZR1] Max Effort Build Boost Only

Max Effort Build Boost Only
I thought I would post up on my recent build that was just finished up. This is my third zr1 I have built in the last five years or so. I seem to always come back to these cars for some reason even though they run a little hot, especially in Texas. I ended up building three very similar cars that were actually pretty close in mods, but they were night & day on power and how they delivered it. There is just something special about a c6 zr1 that words cant really describe. They are super strong right out of the gate and very smooth with loads of brake.
Build one in 2012: 750 / 750 via BTR ported stock heads, BTR stage 3 cam, Lingenfelter snout & intake, ported 90mm TB, 2.6 / 14%, AR long tubes, no cats, E85, 26* advance. This car drove like stock, pulled hard down low, was a little lazy on top for me.
Build two in 2016: 825 /800 via Texas Speed ported stock heads, GPTuning stage 3, Lingenfelter snout & synergy intake, ported blower, 102 TB, 2.35 / 14%, Kooks, no cats, E85, 26* advance. This car made good power everywhere, down low & up top. Def did not drive like stock, it was pretty gnarly. You could def tell you built a fast car.
Build three 2018: 901 / 769 via PRC heads, GPTuning stage 4, Kong Performance 108mm Race Ported snout, Kong Performance intake, Kong Performance ported blower, 102 TB, 2.35 / 14%, Kooks, no cats, E85, 23* advance. This car is one wild ride, it just feels rad AF and is an absolute freight train on the toll road in mexico. These dyno numbers were in a 120 degree dyno room @ 3500 DA. There no doubt this car is making 950+ whp in good weather.
Matt & Dale @ Dedicated Motorsports built & tuned cars two & three. Matts attention to detail along with his ability to fabricate and weld up anything you can really think of sets him apart from the rest. You just cant find a better shop to deal with, trust me I have tried. The Kong Performance port work, race snout & intake really made all the difference this time around if you ask me. The GP4 was def a better cam for making power up top and if you notice it made power past redline which rare for these cars. There is no doubt if I build another one or was building one now, Dedicated Motorsports & Kong Performance would be the way to go.

I used to get out a little, I dont get out much anymore due to working so much. But as soon as the weather cools in Oct - Nov I will get more time and would love to make some pulls.

Awesome build, I've been wanting a ZR1 for 8 years now. I own an N/A built 05 C6 and want to upgrade to a ZR1 so bad
