Default Finally was able to get my dream car...

So after looking at C5 Z06s, I stumbled across a good deal on a 2008 Z06. Been lusting over these cars when I saw the first one in the show room in 2006, in coicendltly, the same color! The car has 35k miles with mods as listed, others I don't know. Cam, PFAD headers, Airaid intake, ZR1 fenders and miscellaneous carbon fiber bits.

If anyone knows this car, I'd love to know more about it including cam specs and if the heads were done (hadn't investigated yet)

Anyways, here it is!

There are not many cars I like in yellow, but this is one of them. Congrats! I like that lip kit. I want one on my next car, but you have to be very careful when parking and going up entrance ways.

I hope one day to have a C6 Z06 like you. Due to finances I was also looking at C5 Z's but I'd go bankrupt for C6 Z.

OP, post pics of the exhaust side of the heads. If the head bolts are black (ARP) the heads have been pulled and likely addressed but some people, myself included, installed OEM TTY bolts when we did our heads.

It's kind of strange that the factory ZO6 fenders were replaced with ZR1 style fenders... But, still a beautiful car! Congrats!

No kidding, this thing is low, I'm training myself to park 1 foot away from anything just in case. The going up steep drives is posing a challenge for sure!

I didn't notice anything on the heads, but I wasn't looking for signs like that either, but I will try and look the next time I get in the garage.

I appreciate the kind words. Hoping all goes well with the car and hope to have it a long time. I do hope to get some actual photographs soon, so stay tuned!

Beautiful car man, congrats!

EDIT: a thought to help locate previous owner, you could do some google image searches for velocity yellow c6 z06 and see if you can find one with that same extended zr1 aero.

Congrats on the new car! I love yellow too, my previous car was a yellow S2000, had it for 11 years and did not tire of it. Yellow was on my short list of colors when I was shopping for mine. Really like the carbon bits.

Thanks man. I do think the carbon adds a lot to it and helps break up the yellow a bit.
