Default Differential weight?

I am going to sell the stock diff out of my 2009 Z06. (Changed to a 3.90 rear.)

Before listing it, I'm trying to get a sense of what the shipping cost would be. I've done a forum search, which indicates a C5 Z06 diff weighs about 75 lbs., but I'm unable find the weight of a C6.

Does anyone know the weight of a C6 Z06 diff?

thanks, Andy

Thanks. I'll figure 90 pounds for calculation purposes.

How much $$ are you going to list the diff for?

I don't want to get in hot water with the administrators by responding with a price and having it considered an improper ad.

If you're interested, check here in the next day or two: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...le-wanted-115/

Or, send me an email with your email address and I'll get back to you. (Click on my user name.) I do not like PM.

How much do you like the 3.90s? Do you wish you had gone 4.10s?

Those are good questions; ones I can't really answer, for two reasons.

One, at the same time I installed the diff I also installed a close ratio transmission, so it's hard to differentiate between gearing changes attributable to one or the other.

Two, I have very little seat time in the new configuration. That said, initial impressions are GOOD.

As for a 4.10, my application is street driving and some track time, so I don't think a 4.10 would be beneficial. Drag racing, maybe, but that's not something I do.
