Default 30 profile tires on 20" wheels!

I'm going to buy Michelin PS Cup 2 tires, but in bigger than OEM size: 325/30-20 or 345/30-20. I am not speaking of 3xx/25-20.

Can this be done without rubbing, and if not, can the liner be modified to make it work? Car doesn't have to be super low, but wheel arch needs to follow tire quite nice
If you have pictures of this on a C6 Z06/ZR1, please post it!

Edit: I have the OEM cup wheels

Both of those are going to be a 28" tire. The car will modify the fender lines itself as they rub. Probably rub into the battery box and other areas too if you are not careful. You also need to match the front wheels to those size, as you will get errors if you do not as the tire sizes have to be within a few percent of each other.

Basically not a good idea. Plus it kills gearing and makes the car slower.

What's the overall diameter change?

I run 325/25R21 rears (about 3/4" taller than OEM size) and my car is lowered all the way on stock bolts. Every now and then, over very large dips, they'll touch the inside of the rear fenders.

It looks like your tire is a little bigger than 325/30-20 and 0.4% smaller than 345/30-20. How hard do you drive the car, do you drive hard on road courses?

Look at the tire manufacturer specifications, sizes are approximate and using a tire size calculator may not be accurate enough. Michelin data says their 325/25/21 is actually 27.4" tall, not sure why you calculated 355/25/21. Anything over 27.5" is pushing it.

Even stock tires can hit on really agressive bumps and rip the rear fender liners out.

WHY do you members REJECT my C6 Grand Sport Set Up
that Luke from Tire Rack suggested to me

345/30-19 on 19x12.5
295/30-19 on 19x10.5

I just received my SIGNATURE SV701 Wheels and dont have the tires mounted yet

I don't run 355/25 so this isn't accurate.

And I do not track the car on those wheels, just street driving.

The 345/30 will rub A LOT! it's 28.2. The 335/30/20 has been tried, but it rubs, often

Thanks for the feedback all of you, I was too quick and thought it was 355.
Sounds like I have to stick to 25 profile!

I have 360 20" wheels lowered with toyo r888r tires 285/30/20 and 325/30/20. It only rubs slightly if go over a huge bump. I think it would be OK if you at stock height and slightly lowered.

I believe the 315/30/20 r888r’s are only 27.2 or 27.5 inches tall... that’s a tire that I saw recommenced on the forum. Before going to a 25 series, I would pick that tire. Even at 12 inches wide, it’s better than any of the 25 series at 13 inches wide from what I’ve been able to find. Guys have mentioned that they drive rather aggressive on 27.5 inch tires and have gotten the rare running only from heavy bumps.

how is IT on the ragged edge in a corner with two people in the car? I am open to not lowering the car completely on the stock bolts

Why not just go down to a 19" rear and run a 345/30R19? If you're worried about driving the car hard then that's what I would recommend.

Ideally I would go for 19" or even 18", but I don't have wheels in that size and it's expensive, so I wanted to just buy tires. I also really like the design of the cup wheels that I have now (19" front 20" rear)
