LS2 vs LS7 TB

Depending on the year, LS7s have TBs that open differently form other LS7 TBs, Silver or gold blade are different, I believe and not compatible.

Just to clear up confusion and random guessing:
The LS2 and LS7 throttle body is the same up through most of 2008. (silver throttle plate) Part # is 12570790
The LS3 and LS7 throttle body is the same 2009 (and part of 2008) to 2013. (gold throttle plate) Part # is 12605109
The silver throttle plate was used up until about mid-2008 when GM switched to the gold throttle plate for LS3 and LS7, which opens in the opposite direction and changed the voltage.
They are compatible in that they will all bolt up. But there is a voltage difference in them that will throw codes if you put one on that is different than the year it was designed for. You can tune for it though.
