I may end up doing the same thing. I was going to go with Akra, but they don’t have a non-NPP option. So I settled on a Billy Boat Bullet system with the round 4” flat black tip option. If I don’t like it, I’ll end up trying another next year. I want some noise and I don’t really mind drone, because I don’t drive the car on the hightway and with a manual transmission, I can control it a little better. Time will tell...

Akra didn't live up to expectations. Between the drone, quietness (quieter than the stock zr1 mufflers it replaced) and overall euro sounding exhaust note just didn't make any sense whatsoever to be on a ZR1. It did look badass though!

I have B&B PRTs for sale if you’re interested. I had them on my 09 Z06. Sounded amazing but was too loud for morning startups. I had no cats so it did drone some for me.
