Default Round Two Upgrades Start Today at CPR!

Fuel sender took a dump, so while it's in for those repairs (thankful for Ally Warranty), I figured I would do some more cooling upgrades to make Phoenix summer driving a little better.

Round Two Upgrades
  • Replace under hood CPR Expansion tank with Six Gallon trunk tank
  • ProSpeed Dual Fans
  • DSX Aux Fuel since we're in there anyway
  • Mighty Mouse Catch Can

Round One Upgrades
  • K&N
  • 2" Kooks with Off-Road
  • ID1050X Injectors
  • 2.45 GripTec Upper
  • DSX Flex
  • LPE Isolator
  • CPR Brick Reinforcement
  • WCCH Stage 2 Heads, milled, BTR dual springs, iconel exhaust
  • Edelbrock Heat Exchanger
  • Stewart pump
  • CPR Expansion Tank
  • Johnson Lifters, new pushrods, trays, plugs, etc
  • Amsoil in tranny, engine and diff
  • Tune for 91 and E

Marine engines normally run these - they're good for super high heat...their valve seats IIRC

Nice. How did you do on Pump 91 with this setup ? I would like to do heads and drop the pulley size down a bit more over winter.

Nice numbers.

Are you going with the Kong 108 setup or are you waiting to see if he adapts the intake and snouts to the new 112 he has been working with ?

Plan is just the listed upgrades right now in this round. Doing them as I have the funds. Blower work, cam and tb will be this fall. I’m expecting the third round to be 13-15k.

He tested the 112mm TB on an LS9. I asked him what the gains were over a 108mm TB with a 108mm+ snout. He said "minimal."

OP, you know you are in good hands with CPR. They twin turboed my 5th Gen camaro. I was their first out of state customer.
