New to me 2013 ZR1
After 5 years of no sports car ownership I was finally able to get myself into a sports car again. I started looking into Lamborghini's and was going to do the Gallardo twin turbo route but when Taylor Sims gained his wings to heaven I felt it wasn't worth it because I wouldn't have a go to person who would help me anymore. RIP Buddy I will see you on the other side. I then started looking for ZR1's and ran across one here locally. It ended up having a story behind it but I got into contact with everyone and it all checked out. Searching on here I found out more about the car and did the research I need to do. So I decided to pull the trigger and here we are now. I finally got 24 hrs off to take the car to my real good friends shop in SA to go over the car and once we were done we would slap her on the dyno. Car already had a 2.6 upper, ARH 1 7/8 headers with catted X,and a DSX E85 setup with a ported snout. Looking over the car I did find some things I dont like, But I am very picky and I look at things that dont bother others. Like OEM bolts and rivets missing etc. Overall the car was really clean I would give it a 8 out of 10 which is good for a used car with 17k on the clock. I dont like the fact that whoever worked on it used sheet metal screws to put back on the carbon fiber rocker moldings and the front splitter was missing screws. I knew they had been taken off due to tracking the car so that is why I looked at that first. Also found the ball joint boots split on both A arms so Im just going to order new ones, So for what I paid for the car and another $400 in parts because I am picky I am pretty happy. We strapped her down and she laid down 633hp and 613tq SAE corrected on the dyno jet with the AFR @ 10.4 in 2 bar speed density from Jason Short tuning. Jason was nice enough to send me the stock file so we can start fresh and re-tune the car. So I will be doing alot more in the near future like heads, cam, blower port etc. But for now I am happy just to have a corvette again and I can finally go back to car meets without being empty handed. It was also good to see all my motorhead friends and they treated me like I had never disappeared for 5 years Here are some Pics to share.

For sure brother. But all the good and old school info is still here
Thanks Im going to keep them and not sell them. They have one rim has a scratch but thats easy to fix but I am already getting the CF10's in gloss black so its not high on the fix list.

Torch Red ZR1 what a great choice my friend. I also agree with the tragic loss of the owner of Dallas Performance, truly sad 😞
