Default New PB for my stock 2006 Z06 7.15@102 in the 1/8

Hi guys, just wanted to tell my story real quick. My local 1/8 mile track hosted real street car event. I entered my stock Z06 in the daily driver class. I ended up winning the event! There were some faster cars there then my car. But luck was in my side and I got the win. Also got a new personal best! 7.15@102 that might have been a 10sec pass in the 1/4 .

So about the car it has 108k miles I recently bought it from an older guy in az and drove it to VA. After I got it home I did tune it up with ngk ruthenium spark plugs and granitelli plug wires. I changed engine oil, transmission fluid and flushed the clutch fluid. My rear tires are stock size hankook street tires @28psi. Da was hovering around 400 all night

I know there are a few guys that will say" oh that's not stock" but in my eyes it is and I'm happy with the results. I can't wait to get my heads and cam installed.

Here's the pass. It was the final round of the event. I was racing a 4x4 Whipple charged f150 5.0. he had run in the 6s earlier but had a bad launch against me.

How sure are you that car is stock?

When my H/C car was at 540whp it trapped 103-104 in the 1/8 mile and 132-133mph in the 1/4 with 17" drag radials.

I Bought the car from an older guy and he assured me it was stock. Visibly everything looks stock. I even replaced the air filter with A stock one. So I'm %95 sure it's stock . Unfortunately I have no way of knowing if it has a tune.

That's about a 10.999 in the 1/4.

Man I'm super impressed with the car. I can't stop driving it lol . The day after the drag event my wife and I took it to the mountains and I got to go around the Twisties lol. I'm wearing my poor driver's seat out.

I feel like I'm running with hellcats. Time wise
