Default C7 Z06 Wheels for my C6 Z06

Just received set of Black C7 Z06 Wheels, 232519267, 23319267, TPMSs19155710. Waiting on TPMS Sensor Nut 17800699. Tires have arrived at installer - Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP 285/30R19 front, 335/25R20 rear. TPMS nuts expected on Saturday so I can get these installed. Plan is to put all season tires on C6 Z06 wheels for use in the winter. I look forward to how it will look on my yellow C6.

TPMS nuts arrived today, so I installed the TPMSs in the wheels and took to the tire shop. They were able to mount all four tires, but struggled to get them seated. As of closing time today, only one was seated. I am not in a hurry, but look forward to seeing them on the car. Will post pictures when complete. I don't know if you can see it, but the wheel has raised black letters/numerals "Z06" opposite the valve stem hole. Looks great.

Those are the wheels I got except that I got the silver edge instead of red. I did buy the GM Jake center caps - 19301417
They look great on the 427 convertible.

They have the silver groove, I just used some red tape for the effect. Excuse the lack of enter caps and lug nut key on the front. I was running gloss black C6 caps.

Have you thought of using the gloss black lug nuts and wheel lock like on the C8 Stingray? 84448918 and 9599495. They should fit these wheels, right?

Funny you mention that, I have a set of black McGard lugs coming tomorrow. I think C8s has different threaded studs. I have switched to a different set of wheels, machined face GS01 wheels with Carbon Flash. Still have the C7 Z06 accessory wheel, can't convince myself to get rid of them.

You are right, ours are M12x1.5 and C8 is M14x1.5. Nice call.

Hope you have better luck with the C7 wheels than most people. Lot of bent and cracked C7 GS and Z06 wheels out there. Should look awesome regardless.

These wheels are great. Nice and straight. Tire store had difficulties getting the Michelin ZP tires to seat. But finally got done. Will add picture soon.

Are you aware of the bending/cracking issues with the C7 wide body wheels? If not, you can do a search here to read about them

A good reminder that those 30 and 25 aspect ratio tires do not protect much from potholes. I will continue to be careful, but can be hard to see at night in the rain.

Good friend of mine has a bone stock 2009 ZR1, had many issues with his wheels. Any wheel with 2 1/4" sidewall huge offset barrel will have issues. Just saying

First off the wheels look great, if you have a pic on the car I'd love to see it.

QQ for you: I get your front wheel size, seems like a no-brainer to go 285/30R19. Good 30 aspect ratio, although I suppose you could get away with a 35. But on the rear size, what lead you to decide 335/25R20 as opposed to either 335/30R20, or 325/30R20? I know not all sizes are available in all brands.

All the sites like tire rack, discount tire etc want to sell me the 335/25R20 and insist that is the size I need (I am sure its the OEM size for a ZR1 that causes that.) I am upgrading my wheels to a 19/20 set, and I can't decide which to go with.

What was your decision to pick the Aspect Ratio (25) and a 335 width?

For clarity, I am also thinking Michelin Pilot Sport or Continental Extreme Contact. Thanks all for any input. In full disclosure, I am an interloper with a Super charged Grand Sport.

(Gasp! Who let him in here?!?)
