Default 2010 OEM wheel question

I’ve got an issue where my front left tire is slowing losing psi every time I fill it up. I have the run flat Michelin super sport zp tires. The question I have is do the OEM wheels crack often like the cup wheels do? It’s driving me nuts because I can’t think of a time where I would hit a pot hole or something to even possibly damage the wheel. just by looking I can’t see anything puncturing the tire. Are there ways to see if the wheel is cracked?

Thanks

Do you drive it a lot? I don't drive mine very much and the michelin run flats would leak down a little.

No I don’t drive it often. It only has about 22k miles. The tires are 3 years old. It’s just that front tire. The rest are perfectly fine.

If they are OEM C6 ZR1 rims I would say it's probably the tire. I don't know of any bad C6 ZR1 rims being reported on this forum.

It could also be the valve stem. Try a soap bubble test.

Those tires are notoriously hard to seat on the stock wheels. Poor installation would be my guess.

Its just started not too long ago. When I had them installed there were no issues.

Put it in a tub of water, you'll find it.

Any idea how old the TPMS sensors are? I have another car with metal valve stem sensors, and over the last year at various times all of them have started leaking at the gasket to the wheel rim and been replaced or need replacing.

Had the same issue. Took the car to a tire repair shop and they found a nail in the tire. problem solved.

12/13 Original Cup Wheels stamped speedline are fine. It’s the C7 generation grand sport cup wheel stamped Mexico are the ones that have the cracking issues. All speedline C6 wheels to include the 12/13 cup wheels should be good.
