It was supposed to be a huge departure from the base C6, wasn't it? This looks more like the C4/ZR1 or C5/Z06 pairings.
Hell, aside from the front scoop I'd have a hard time telling them apart.
And the hood scoop is teh ghey.

The Z06 clay model was insane. INSANE. Had a vent at the door area very similar to the Carrera GT's, and was just wicked...had an enormous front valance/splitter on it, and surprisngly had a rear wing. That's all I'm telling for now kiddies.
Plus there were a few concept Stingrays done, but none are going to be shown.
Keep in mind, this was the clay model before they sent the disc away to the engineers, but you all will still be very, VERY surprised.

Hey, Dave Hill said that the C5-R drivers were testing and providing feedback and info for the C6 Z - so it might not be Ron in there now, but you can bet he's been behind the wheel. Looks to me like the front headlights have a slightly different shape.

Definite wheel/brake differences at the very least, plus the Autoweek pic noted fender flares like the trailer shot (though very hard to see on their site).
