Default Can someone please the discounts?

Can someone tell me the difference between the GMS, Supplier and GMID discounts? I am looking at buying a 06 vette in the summer and beginning to do some homework and would like to know all my options. I am also active duty military. Can I qualify for any of the discounts?

GMS - GM employee discount - somewhere south of invoice price. only available to GM employees and I think also their family.

GMID - GM in the Driveway - same as supplier pricing, a bit higher than GMS. This is available to anybody. You just need to find a GM employee to sign you up as a prospect, then you get a certificate number good for 6 months.

Both of these discounts are programs from GM and dealers can participate at their discretion.

I think some dealers give active military a discount, but that's dealer specific so you'd need to inquire.

GMS as noted above is only available to GM employees and family it works out to about 15% off MSRP. GMID (I think this is the same as GM supplier) is about 10% off of MSRP.

Default Dealer pricing

Thanks for all the help. It looks like GMS is the best but either one would be a big help on savings.
