Just my two cents, my buddy has a vert and a 06 Z and he frankly is not a fan of the Z as a daily driver. He is bugged to no end that he cannot take off his top . Make sure you will not miss this, cause otherwise it open windows or a/c. I know i would miss it. Good luck.

Yes I agree with the top...but if I keep the C6 im going to put fenders/hood and SC or Heads/CAM ... I just cant keep it stock!!!

They are offering me 43000 for my car....but wont budge on the 82000 MSRP on the Z lol

Juan, They're offering you $43K because they aren't budging on the markup... I'd not overpay for a Z06 just to get a little more for your car.

I'm in the middle of moving within the next 14 days and then will be dealing with selling my house. Just sold my C5 last weekend, so I'm Vette-less... I don't anticipate being in a position to do anything until July/ August at the earliest, but if you're still looking to sell it late summer, keep me in mind...

Juan, I'd do one of two things...

Commit 100% to either keeping or selling your car first...

If you keep it, then buy till your heart's content and mod it to your desire.

But if you have your heart set on a Z06, then don't spend another dime on this car... Pull all the parts off, return it to stock and unload it. I had to find the right buyer for my heads/cam C5 and I still didn't get what I wanted. $20K for a C5 with a custom forged bottem end motor (6K miles on it) with LTs/ custom exhaust making 386 WHP and with all the Z06 suspension and brake upgrades, carbon drive shaft and harness bar and lap belt adapters. It killed me, but was a means to an end...

Return it to stock and sell the parts, put some coin back in your pocket, save the rest and buy a Z06.

Juan,

I am still interested in the Bullets if you decide to return it back to stock so you don't take such a beating on it if you trade it in or can't get your asking price. pm me.

Juan,

good luck with the sale.

It only took me 1 day on this forum to sell my car. I sold it for $500 under the asking price.
