Default Over $ 8000 off of 06 Red Coupe w/250 miles???

Bought car new in April. List was $55525, Invoice was $49063. Only option it does not have is the Z-51 & mag selective ride option and does have the auto option w/paddle shift. Has Nav, both tops, Onstar, 3LT, polished wheels. Car is new and always been in the garage for its short life. No stories, no issues, no scuffs, no scratches... Car is just the way it was when I brought it home. It has the tan inside and is perfect. I may want to sell the car. I own the car, there are no liens. I also have a 05 Harley Softail Deuce w/900 miles that is all chromed out. Bike is under factory warranty and is fuel injected and has the factory alarm. I own it as well. Need to be around $47500 on the Vette and about $17500 on the bike. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can send some pics. I can't figure out how to post one on here. I think $47500 on the car is right at GMS. Benefit to someone that wants a new car would be, a good price and they probably can save some taxes, instead of having to pay ALL of the taxes.

Thanks.

Default Have a couple of pics now!!!

If anyone is interested in this car, let me know, I may be negotiable on the price. Car is new and you can save some taxes over buying at the dealer.

Thanks

It is a buyer's market right now, with dealers offering deep discounts on new 2006 corvettes. Most people won't pay as much for a used one. I'd prefer a vert, but I'd buy yours if the price were right. I'm only about 2 hours away. I'll be glad to make you an offer, but you won't like it.

I wish you luck, though. The car looks gorgeous.

Don't worry, your safe! You can't buy a 06 vette with this equipment and these miles anywhere in the country for 39k or close to that, so why would I sell it for that. I will sell this car cheaper than probably anybody else, but it has to be a like car. You know apples to apples!!!

Thanks.

Dang it. I was hoping to find you in a generous mood today, you know, wanting to help a brutha get into my new ride.

Hopefully I'll be in a brand new one within a couple of weeks (within my budget), but it won't be loaded like yours.

I think you are right about appples to apples, though. Just remember that yours is not new, and you have to compete with dealers offering around $6,000 off the new ones, and then take the depreciation for being used. You have to compare with the prices today, not with what you paid (IMHO).

I appreciate your cordiality, and would not hesitate to buy a car from you. I hope you prove me wrong.

Again, good luck!

I bought the car on April 19th, so that would be the in service date. Someone looking to have a new car and save some extra cash will see the value here.

Thanks.

Ouch! Well at least I made an offer!

I don't blame someone for trying to get as much as they can for their car. It is just a different perspective from buyer to seller. No need to get ugly.

We just sold a 05 Z-51 vert with 3800 miles on it the other day. It was like a $60,105 MSRP and we got $49,800 at an AUCTION. We are right in the heart of GMS country as well. I would say you are pretty close on the money and your car looks great so I wouldent worry so much and if you dont have alot of employees there the deal is even better if your goin to save some of the tax as well. Your being fair and nobody can ask for a whole lot more than that.

The car has two hundred miles on it!!! That should speak for itself. It was not a car that sat around on the lot growing grass and collecting scratches. The car had been in inventory there for about 10 days.
Thanks for the input. I figure as you say, "fair" price for a two hundred mile loaded RED vette is pretty good.

Thanks again,

David

Yes "Pretty good price" is a very accurate assessment in my eyes.

Nothing personal, sorry if you took it that way. Did you jump on one of those from EVS? Those are priced great. That's where I bought mine in Dec.

Anyone, anyone, anyone???? Anybody know of a home for my Harley that I listed as well with the original post. I know this is our Vette forum, but I figured one of our fellow Vette members would know someone looking for a Deuce with 900 miles. Can you see a pattern here, 06 Vette w/250 miles and a 05 Harley w/900 miles!! Probably real stupid on my part, but damn they look good in the garage together.

Somebody buy the pair to complete their garage.

Thanks for the positive input.

Later.
