FS: 2006 Used or 2007 New Z06, You Choose
OK, here’s the story. In December 2005 I place a deposit on a 2006 Z06 with a local dealership. I was # 35 on their list and they had assurances that they would get adequate allocations to place my order within the model year. Well their allocation, like many of the dealers were lower than expected and I was carried over onto their 2007 list. In the meantime I purchased a Z06 through a non-local dealer and paid over MSRP. I took delivery in mid-May. My deposit remains outstanding for a 2007 Z06. The dealer contacted me last week and reported I was number 4 on the list and they have averaged 3 allocations per month. At this point the order should be placed later this month or in December for sure.
So here is the deal. I am willing to part with my 2006 Z06 and buy the new 2007, or keep the 2006 sell my 2007 allocation. I’m good either way.
The 2006 Z06 is bone stock, in perfect condition and has 10,250 miles. It is outfitted as follows;
LMB with Titanium Interior
2LZ Group
NAV
Polished Wheels
NCM Delivery
If you have an interest at $71,000 or discussing the 2007 allocation please PM me. Thanks,
dofdear

I wish you luck cause you are gonna need it.
Really, good luck, but just a piece of frendly advise, you would get more response if your car was priced in the mid 60's. At $71k, I would be suprised if anyone responds at all other than to make fun.

Doesnt the forum have a rule about not telling people what they should do with their asking prices? If he gets no response then he will lower his price.

ttt - Would have thought the posting would have generated greater interest, particularily the 2007. Oh, well I'll keep looking until I get the call from the dealer and then decide a course of action. This is really a great oppurtunity to get into either a new or used Z06 with a flexible seller. I'm only offering this on the CF.....
And for the rule monger, every car has a price. But thanks for the help.

well this isn't for a car...it is for an allocation or spot on the list....so I would venture to guess he wants to be reimbursed for his deposit....if that is the case I agree and he should spell that out or post it elsewhere.

Time is running out!
This is the last week otherwise time will force a decision.
I'm lowereing the price of the 2006 Z06 to $69,500. See the original post for details.
The asking price for the 2007 Z06 allocation is $2,500.
You choose but hurry otherwise the allocation will be turned back to the dealer. Based on past practice they will bring a car into inventory and sell for between $5 and $10K over. And in this market they will get it.
As I previously said, this offer has only been open to CF members.
