Lease assumption on 08 4LT JSB
Hello
I'm testing the waters to see if any members are interested in a great lease takeover. Looking to get into a Z06.
It's a 2008 JSB Coupe 6sp Z51 All ebony 4LT and NPP. MSRP was just over $59,000. I used Ken from the Vette Net and Leasecompare.com to get the lease. Not looking to get back my down payment
30 months left on a 36 month lease. 12,000 miles per year and the car has 3000 miles. Payments are $673.28 per month. Total cost for the 30months would be $20,190 plus your local stae tax and you would be able to drive the car 1100 miles each month. Car is loctaed in CT
Please email @ robshorizon@aol.com if interested
Thanks
Rob

Basically what will happen is that GM is probably gonna contact you and offer you the car for WAY LESS than that.
And if they don't then you can walk and it will be on a dealer's lot for way less than that.
In the meantime, the lease payments are way lower than they would have been if the residual value had been correctly assumed - if I understand leasing correctly.

lease assumption
Hey Bro,
I am also trying to get into a Z. I've been trying to get rid of my 2006 C6 for a while now through a lease assumption, I got no takers. Then I found a dude through craigslist and now I am told my leasing company Wells Fargo, that they don't lease assumptions. Wells told me I have to keep the car....no exceptions....craziness.
good luck with your ride, hopefully your leasing company doesn't play games with you.

WOW! Good for you. How did they come up with these residuals?

How do you know what GM would offer the car at? This is peaking my interest, not knowing anything about leasing....

see3er,
I would love for that to happen then I would sell it ASAP, so I can get my Z. I'm currently fighting with Wells Fargo to see why they didnt notify anyone that their policy had changed about lease assumptions. They got a 75B bailout, the least they could do is honor their initial agreement with me.
I got a guy who wants my car, would be a nice transfer.

GMAC doesn't negotiate their leases at the end. If the original lesse passes, the dealer gets a shot, then a virtual auction and then a physical auction. After that, that's when they take the loss (if any).

In all the vehicles that I leased thats how it always worked for me. I believe there is a lease that you dont in the end have the option to buy. Possible called closed end lease
