Default WTB-Any dealers offer discounts on Museum Delivery orders?

I want to buy a 2012 convertible 3lt and wondered if anyone has had luck getting a dealer to come off msrp when it is ordered for museum delivery?

Sure - no different than any other option. Check with the forum dealers here - they do it all the time.

Call Wes Milby at Reliable Chevrolet listed here. I just picked up my 2011 GS JSB Convertible at the Museum and got a better discount than I could have gotten from any local dealer and the other Forum dealers I contacted

I'm thinking all forum vendors will come off MSRP for dealer/museum or courtesy drop-off

What is courtesy drop off? I hope it is where you make a deal for an instock vette, pay the shipping and museum delivery, and they ship it back to bowling green!

Ah, got it. Thanks for explaining. No way I would ever let a dealer here touch a car that I didn't order from them. One local dealer usually marks the vettes on the showroom floor over msrp. I really want museum delivery, but I have no interest in paying full price when I know what great deals can be had through forum supporting dealers. Maybe I can get something hooked up once the new pricing is out.

I will be glad to help with your order when you are ready. You will not have to pay MSRP ! I have a good friend at the museum who will handle your delivery for you !! I have been doing R8C museum deliveries since the program started. Let me know what I can do to help.

I contacted several forum dealers about a month ago regarding ordering a new GS vert, but since decided to wait for a 2012. The prices I got were fantastic, still kind of regret not ordering. I would be less than a month from delivery had I went ahead with it.
